A good friend of mine recently asked me if marriage was "everything I thought it'd be". Of course I said "Oh yeah way better!", but in my mind, I was really thinking... GIRL YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW AWESOME MARRIAGE IS!!!
When you're married to your best buddy marriage is more than being in love and living under the headship, protection, and adoration of that one you love. You have a best friend/lover combined... a MAN that you adore and think the world of, as well as your funnest playmate... THE man you love with every last bit of yourself, as well as your mischief maker in cahoots, the one you TP houses with, the one laugh the loudest with, the one who knows you completely as you are, nothing else, 100% YOU.
When you get married, you come as is. When somebody loves you unconditionally when you are your raw, imperfect self, it is the most heavenly, most untouchable beauty in the world. It is perfect.
So yeah, marriage is everything I thought it'd be and more. It's FUN. REALLY fun. It's like living with the most fun and exciting and closest friend you have... and being madly in love with him at the same time. I do not have sufficient words to describe the awesomeness of life with the man you love.
...and having his baby...
Yup, you read that right.
We're having a baby.
And we are happy. Very, very happy.

Thanks guys! I'll post a belly pic once I find the charger to my camera battery. :0 But the protrusion has arrived! At least everyone around here is starting to comment on it... hmmm...:-) The baby is due very early January. Jessica, I got my skirt at a store in AR called "Romancing the Stone". They are a collection of silk wrap skirts that are usually in most exotic hippie stores found in malls and cute downtowns. :) I love it too!
